Trust & Security
This page is maintained by the PromptVault team to answer common security and privacy questions about PromptVault. It describes app-visible controls and current practices and is not a certification or independent audit.
Access & authentication
Accounts are created with email and password. Sessions are managed by our hosting backend and stored in your browser. Sign-out clears the session locally.
Administrative tools (user management, moderation, access codes, direct messaging) are restricted to a single owner account and gated both in the UI and at the database policy layer.
Platform & hosting
PromptVault is built on the Lovable platform. Application data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security policies enforcing per-user access. The platform provides standard transport encryption (HTTPS) for traffic between your browser and the application.
PromptVault and Lovable have a shared responsibility model: Lovable operates the underlying platform; PromptVault owns the application logic, access policies, and how customer data is used.
Data we collect
We store the account email you sign up with, prompts you create or save, ratings and favorites, and basic usage events (e.g. which prompts were tested, when) so we can show your dashboard and personal library.
Translations and AI prompt tests are processed through AI providers via our backend. Inputs are sent to those providers solely to generate the requested response.
Subprocessors & integrations
PromptVault relies on the Lovable platform for hosting, database, and an AI gateway used to call language models and text-to-speech for translation playback. Payment processing for premium upgrades is handled by Stripe.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share account data with third parties for advertising.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme choice, and cache generated audio so the translation tool stays responsive. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Retention & deletion
Your prompts, favorites, and account data remain until you remove them or request deletion of your account. You can delete prompts you created from your dashboard.
To request full account deletion, email the address below and we will remove your account and associated personal records.
